I’m reading a site that compares the escalation of government in America with that of pre-WWII Germany. It seems a little extreme so I’m trying to check a few facts. “Persons convicted of crimes are being appointed to critical positions in the Obama administration.”

Who in the Obama administration has been convicted of crimes and what crimes did they commit? Thanks for your help.
