Who Invented Crack Cocaine?
Question by donsrea: who invented crack cocaine?
Best answer:
Answer by Boo Boo D
So here is the deal. The internet was around in the mid 1980’s and was in use much by college students.
The origins of crack are highly debatable and unknown from what I can tell.
But being alive and on the internet in the 80’s and with the statistics we know now, I’d say some rich boys might have gotten the recipe from the South Americans? or cooked it up themselves and spread it over various mediums. Once it took off, it took off.
I don’t know that it was invented per say as it “took form” might be the better word.
I heard about crack in the year 1980 so I think it is some misinformation when they say mid 80’s.
