What Is the Best Way to Cook Boiled Eggs So They Peel Easily?

Question by Unknown to the Modern World: What is the best way to cook boiled eggs so they peel easily?
Well I know that the older an egg gets, the easier they are to deshell when boiled. I normally put the eggs in the pan, let it sit on medium heat until the water is at a boil and then I turn the heat off and let them sit for 15 minutes (leaves the yoke a bit soft, I like that). Then I take the pan and run it under cold water for alittle while and continue to take the shell off by cracking the egg and then rolling it on the counter. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing! Some eggs are just not as easy to peel than others even out of the same box. It’s probably mother nature…
