What Does Water Soluble Mean?
Question by Dave: What does water soluble mean?
Why does it matter if something is water soluble or not when snorting it?
I was reading Wikipedia and I came upon this:
“As the name implies, “freebase” is the base form of cocaine, as opposed to the salt form of cocaine hydrochloride. Whereas cocaine hydrochloride is extremely soluble in water, cocaine base is insoluble in water and is therefore not suitable for drinking, snorting or injecting.”
What does something being water soluble have to do with it being able to be snorted?

If it’s not water soluble, it won’t be absorbed into the bloodstream. Waste of money.
I’m guessing that when you heat it, there is a chemical change and it becomes water soluble.
