What Are the Warning Signs That Someone May Want to Harm You?

Question by xD: What are the warning signs that someone may want to harm you?
Hi, I have a lot of trouble reading body language and I’m trying to learn more about body language especially since a man high on cocaine tried to steel my mobile phone and may have harmed me if my boyfriend didn’t know what was really going on, I had an idea the man was a little off but I wasn’t sure.

I want to know the warning signs that someone may try to physically hurt you, is going to try and rob you, is going to try and do anything wrong to you.

Also what kind of areas are best to avoid? Eg signs that a place is dangerous or that something is off.

What to do if someone tries to rob your phone etc; should you just give it to them?

Signs that people are doing illegal things eg. drugs.

What is the body language of someone that wants to hurt you? What do their eyes look like?

What areas should you try to hurt if you’re being attacked by someone who is high because they’re reaction times are faster than normal peoples?

What areas should you hit if someone hits you in general?

If someone you know is beside you and is in danger and you can get away should you go for help even if the person you know could get hurt more?

How to know if a person is dodgy? Eg how their eyes look, their body language, how they talk and act etc?

lot’s of questions I see….

ok dangerous places… out on the streets by yourself at night, dark allies and rougher looking parts of town. Clubs also… never leave your drink!

if someone tries to take your stuff call for help. If you are alone DO NOT attack them or anything! They could be armed! Go to the police station and tell them, they’ll find your guy.

illegal things like drugs. Google this stuff…. it depends what drug. Google things like “Effects of cocaine” or “Effects of meth” etc.
Normally they look worried and have red eyes and may be breathing quickly. Meth users may have needle injection zones in their arms. Cocaine users may have white powder on them.

they will be starring at you or trying to avoid gaze when you look at them usually. Or they will follow you.

when attacked there are a few thing to do. If you have a pen take the end of the pen and stab it into the bottom rib of your attacker. Meaning you are stabbing it just below and then move the pen up. Also scream for help duh. Bite them. Make a big scene of it all, they won’t like that and will back off, kick the backs of the knees or do a groin kick (it hurts girls too).

I just told you what areas to hit kind of. The face is also good. Make sure you cover your face so you don’t take damage and try to get to their least protected side (meaning if their right fist is up the left side is the weak spot).

YES GO FOR HELP IF SOMEONE IS IN DANGER!

they look plain shifty if they are dodgy. They’ll just act very strangely around you if they want to try something.

hope that helped

1) Avoid poverty stricken areas, especially at night time hours as desperation from poverty causes people to go to extremes, often to support their drug habits.
2)If someone is trying to steal something like your phone, it may be best as a female to just let them have it, no material posession is worth dying for, let the cops handle this, don’t try to be a hero.
3)Signs that a person may be under the influence: Red eyes, shaking, slurring of speach, rapid eye movements, a general look of paranoia.
4)Its tough to say what a persons body language may be like when they intend to hurt you, but if you notice someone walking straight towards you that you don’t know, or getting overly close to you, staring at you it would be good to remain cautious.
5)Go for the balls, this is the quickest way to incapacitate a male attacker, it may also be good for you to carry a can of mace on your keychain as this will blind them long enough for you to escape. Try to gouge their eyes alternatively.
6)In most scenarios it would be more effective for you to get help than to try to fight back, however if you feel as though your friend may not live long enough for the cops to arrive then you may want to assist them.

Hope this helped.
