Does the NBA Doping Tests for Illegal Drugs to the Players?

Question by Rayman: Does the NBA doping tests for illegal drugs to the players?
Like Cocaine, Weed, Crack… Etc.

Best answer:

Answer by Bob Howard
idiot

Answer by baudkarma
Yes, the NBA tests for “Drugs of abuse” as well as steroids. The problem is that veteran players can only be tested once a year, during training camp. Unless the player is a hopeless addict, it’s not difficult to stop using drugs a month or so before training camp starts, and then stay clean until the beginning of the regular season. Once the season tips off, or the player has been tested during training camp, then they know they don’t have to worry about being tested again until the following year.

What Are Some Ways That People Broke Drug Addictions Historically?

Question by Flower Player: what are some ways that people broke drug addictions historically?
I am doing a report but after tons and tons of research, I CANNOT FIND HISTORICAL DIAGNOSES FOR DRUGS, I am looking for ways that have been put out of practice, for example, one historical treatment for illness was “leeching” putting a leech on somebody, and letting them drink out all of the “bad blood”. Once again, I am looking for discontinued practices for breaking drug abuse.

Your search may have been futile, because for a long time, what we know as “drug addiction” wasn’t recognized as a mental or social problem.
