If Your Suffering From an Addiction Should You Feel Proud of 15 Days Sober?
Question by cutelagayguy: If your suffering from an addiction should you feel proud of 15 days sober?
Or is it a little too soon for celebration ? When do you get to say “I’m finally free of drugs and alcohol?”
Best answer:
Answer by Jon
wow 15 days is great!
I wouldn’t say that your “finally free” until like 2 months though, cuz if you say it now you’ll feel easier about starting back. Wait a few months to think of yourself as clean.
Good luck
Answer by Rico
Any day that you stay clean from illicit drugs of any kind is a reason to feel proud.

How Does a 5K Walk for Breast Cancer Work?
Question by Phineas Gage: How does a 5K walk for Breast Cancer work?
I keep hearing about these events, like a 5K walk for breast cancer. I don’t understand how that works. How does walking a 5K help anyone with breast cancer? It has nothing to do with “raising awareness”. I really doubt there are ignorant “unaware” women out there who will suddenly decide to get breast cancer screenings because they saw someone walk 5K with a pink ribbon.
Someone explained it to me like this once: “A company sponsors you. You walk 5K, and they donate X dollars to some breast-cancer charity or cancer research or something.”
