Thanks in advance(:

Answer by mman18
Connotation:
1. An idea or feeling that a word invokes for a person in addition to its literal or primary meaning.
2. The implication of such ideas or feelings

For example: The term “drug abuse” has a much more negative connotation than “drug use”.

Answer by Eugene
It’s like your implying something more in your statement in addition to its literal meaning. Like something emotional. For example, “You are a dog.” Logically, It means you’re lazy rather than you really look like a dog.

Why Isn’t “Responsible Drug Abuse” Legal?

Question by jsprplc2006: Why isn’t “responsible drug abuse” legal?
Here’s my story.

I was prescribed Dexedrine in high school for depression and drowsiness. It worked very well, but I had to change psychiatrists (my previous doctor specialized in pediatric psychiatry, so I now had an adult psychiatrist), and the new one was reluctant to prescribe me more once I was in college. I’m not sure why, since I never had the slightest problem with dependence; nothing negative happened as a result of it.

Those are nice stories. But atheists, Jews, Muslims, etc., have all been saved from those things also. But only the one true Jesus of Nazareth died for your sins and saved you from the wrath of God.

Repentance toward the Father, and faith in Christ Jesus.
