My name is ___ and I am submitting a letter of appeal to suspend my ineligibility for financial aid. I did not maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress during the 2011-2012 academic year and I take full responsibility for not doing so. I am appealing my ineligibility due to chaotic living conditions with my family and the unfortunate loss of my stepfather. These circumstances have resulted in my absence and withdrawal from classes.

Im 13 and last year i was clinically depressed so i turned to cutting. The first time i had no idea what i was doing one minute i was crying in my room next i was racing for the kitchen knife in hand and then i was in the bathroom slicing at my wrists my legs and thing i could get my hand on. When i came to my sense’s i just had a complete mental breakdown.
