The British musician was sent to prison for breaching the terms of his probabtion, British media reported. Doherty has had a long battle with drug abuse, and in October he admitted to a string of drug and drink driving offences. The singer known for his music as well as his former relationship with supermodel Kate Moss, pleaded guilty to driving illegally while in possession of crack cocaine, heroin, ketamine and cannabis. Doherty told reporters outside Wormwood Scrubs prison that he was happy to be out, and is looking forward to a drink and seeing his cats.
