Name the Best 14 SF of All Time in the NBA?

Question by : Name the best 14 SF of all time in the NBA?
What about:
1 Elgin Baylor – NBA ROY, 71 pts in NBA regular season game, scoring over 50 pts well over a dozen times; averaged 34.3 ppg, 38.8 ppg, and 34.0 ppg for 3 consecutive seasons; scored 61 pts in NBA Finals game, averaged 40.6 ppg in NBA Finals and seven game NBA playoff series; 6 NBA Finals appearances. Elgin Baylor was the original Dr. J and MJ all rolled up in one.
2 Larry Bird
3 John Havlicek – 8 NBA rings including 2 post Bill Russell era rings, scored 54 points in NBA playoffs, scored over 26,000 points in the NBA
4 Dr J
5 Rick Barry, NBA Rookie of the Year, NBA Finals MVP, NBA All Star game MVP, 1 NBA scoring title, 1 ABA scoring title, 1 NBA championship
6 Dominique Wilkins
7 Satch Sanders – 8 NBA rings
8 Bernard “Cocaine” King – 1 NBA MVP, 1 NBA scoring title, scored numerous times over 50 points up to 60 points per game
9 Adrian Dantley – NBA Rookie of the Year, 2 time NBA scoring champion
10 Alex English – 25,000 NBA points
11 Scottie Pippen – 6 NBA rings, all with MJ
12 Don Nelson – 5 NBA rings including 2 post Bill Russell era
13 Keith Wilkes – 4 NBA rings
14 James Worthy – 3 NBA rings and averaged in the teens

NOTE: George Gervin never played forward in the NBA. In fact it was George Gervin who was the “accidental causal factor” for the current terminology of PG, SG, SF, PF, and C and #1, #2, #3, #4, and #5 as in the spring of 1976, Gervin was switched from forward to guard for the 1976 ABA playoffs due to injury to superstar guard and team leading scorer James Silas. In the NBA from 1976 to Gervin’s last season primarily as a starter at SG for the Chicago Bulls in his last NBA season in 1985-86 where he started most of the season, Gervin continued to play SG.

Does anyone have a better list than these 14 SF of all time in the NBA who all have at least 3 NBA rings, rookie of the year, some type of MVP award, and NBA scoring titles?
Don’t list Gervin as he never played forward in the NBA as he was a 6′ 9″ SG, or Marion, or Mullin, or Aguirre as I don’t recall too many NBA scoring titles, MVP awards, NBA rings, etc… among Marion, Mullin, or Aguirre. Aguirre is actually the only 20 ppg plus NBA player who I have ever seen when double teamed go into a panic and produce an unforced turnover with the least amount of defensive pressure.
The list is #1 through # 14 with Scottie Pippen listed at #11 with 6 rings primarily because of MJ, so if you think a 16 ppg, 6 rpg, and 18,000 NBA career points deserves to force out say #10 Alex English with over 25,000 points or some other SF listed above with better stats and/or more rings in the top 10, then this is a free country, and you can comment, but don’t say “and no Scottie Pippen” when he was listed at #11 when you typed your comment.
Let me clarify that the comment on John Havlicek was that he scored 54 points in a single NBA playoff game as his all time playoff scoring high. I miswrote the original comment to make it seem that John Havlicek scored 54 points in the NBA playoffs.
Gypsy and Tweetie, some good comments. Thanks. To Tweetie, I am 6′ 6″ tall and have stood next to George Gervin twice. Once on the court and once in general public and both times, I had to crank my neck back to look up at George Gervin, so any heights of George Gervin are kind of Elvin Hayes-ish. Deceive the opponent through misstated numbers and heights. Now, at 6′ 6″ tall, I was taller than Dr J, MJ, and a good two inches taller than Wes Unseld, and probably a good three inches taller at least than either Charles Barkley or David Thompson. Of course all of those guys could jump over the moon, so who is going to argue with their oversstated heights. They all played a lot taller than their listed heights, but George Gervin is one tall dude. I don’t like the PG, SG, SF, PF terminology plus it has ruined the game some as there used to be as you said 2 guards who did what guards did, 2 forwards who did what forwards did. I am coming to the conclusion that Duncan is a postman and not a PF.
People now a days don’t know what a postman is or was, but Duncan is 100% low post with the occasional times he goes to play the high post as Duncan neither plays center nor PF which Coach Popovich readily admits. Yeah, I see general references to Cornbread Maxwell as a PF but Cornbread was at times kind of like a Magic Johnson size PG but played inside once down the court. As far as your comment on Satch Sanders, I see the Celtics as having a tremendous impact on Coach Don Nelson’s “small ball” and see a lot of the old Celtics in the Spurs as Coach Popovich is a student of Coach Don Nelson. Coach Popovich speeds up or slows down the offense just as the old Celtics fastbreak but teams are wiser now and realize what is going on rather than just being outrun. It was a tough choice on Pippen whether he should be in the top 5 or down at #11 as his stats scoring and rebounding aren’t much and how much were the Bulls championships team and MJ championships and Pippen happened to be there.
The best single season I have ever seen played was by James Silas in 1975-76 when he had two other 20 ppg plus scorers on the team too. The next best season I have seen played was by Bernard King in 1983-84. The next best 6 or 8 straight weeks I have ever seen played was in that same season of 1983-84 by Mike Mitchell. I don’t know what was in the water, but King for most of a season and Mitchell (another SF) put the rock through the hole seemingly every time they touched the ball from 22 feet on in no matter where they were on the court. Bird was a very streaky shooter even in his prime going 30 or 40 or more straight games shooting barely 40% from the field, but the best 4th quarter I have ever seen was Bird versus Wilkins in a playoff where both were burning up the net. The NBA never got to see the real Dr J who probably was the most dominant player I have ever seen. Problem with Dr J is that he didn’t start playing until the 4th quarter in the 1972-76 ABA glory days.

It is down to Elgin Baylor or Rick Barry. I would give it to Barry because he was equal to Baylor in scoring and rebounding, but could actually play point guard if needed. Barry was one of the top 5 passers in NBA history. Larry Bird doesn’t even belong on that list because he was what ever was needed at any time. He was better at everything than anybody- except pure point guard and pure center. Bird could out shoot anybody, out pass anybody, out rebound anybody – the dude was SICK!
