Is It Possible for a Cracked Tooth to Be Nerve Treated?
Question by Caren: Is it possible for a cracked tooth to be nerve treated?
I have a tooth with a crack and the dentist did not find it till it was too late … he dug my teeth very deep even though i’ve got no caves … my only complain was i feel pain while chewing …. and i’ve got no caves in that tooth even with x ray. He told me he was going to dig deeper to explore it….. My question is “Is it possible for a teeth with a crack to be nerve treated or would the tooth became weak for a crown and nerve treatment?”
Ps: the crack went below the gum line.

It sounds like the crack went into the nerve of the tooth and you will end up needing a root canal and a crown. Good luck
