Those are nice stories. But atheists, Jews, Muslims, etc., have all been saved from those things also. But only the one true Jesus of Nazareth died for your sins and saved you from the wrath of God.
Repentance toward the Father, and faith in Christ Jesus.
He died for our sins, according to the scriptures.
He was buried.
He rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures.
The gospel. Full and complete. Front and center.

I never use drugs and alcohol. I don’t even smoke and I am an Atheist. I don’t need God to stay sober.
