Is Crack the Same as Cocaine?

Question by Chris H: Is crack the same as cocaine?
I got a project for school in which I have to research “cocaine/crack” I’m not sure if they are the same thing .

I think “crack” is the street drug, that can be laced with other things, and “cocaine” is the pure form.

In general, you snort cocaine and smoke crack. Crack is cheaper than cocaine and thus has become the bane of many large cities.
