Question by John: How do you *** BLOCK *** an Ipod Touch from accessing a secured wireless network?
Can I configure my wireless router to *** block *** unwanted access from an Ipod Touch?

I have a password protected / encrypted linksys router that is being accessed by our son (against our wishes) with his Ipod Touch (which he bought without our knowledge). I’ve disabled the SSID Broadcast option but the doesn’t seem to have any effect.

Get the MAC address of the touch and add it to the mac address filter.
Set the filter to DENY access to the listed address.

Ask him to listen to some songs and do the following:
Tap Settings > General > About then scroll down to Wi-Fi Address.

Remember or write down the numbers,
Should look like this:
00:12:D1:30:51:3A

And remember to change the router password so he can’t login to the router and change the settings you made.
