How Are Video Games More Addicting Than Other Media?
Question by Question Mark: How are video games more addicting than other media?
I can never seem to understand the idea of video game addiction. I always thought it was a joke or a way to demonize gaming by the media. I mean, when was the last time someone said: “that guy watches too many movies. He’s obviously addicted. Lets get him to a hospital” or “that guy reads to much, he needs help.” None would ever claim these things are addicting. But for some reason gaming gets all the hate why is that

Because people are retarded.

Its because video games are interactive. Most people are fine just watching a movie or reading a book, but people seem to naturally want to interact with things, not just read or watch them. This is why video games are addicting, as they allow us to interact with our media, and not just observe it.
