Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Slander Everyone Else?

Question by Freethinker: Do Jehovah’s Witnesses slander everyone else?
I’m not talking about ex-JWs, they slander them on a regular basis. But JWs seem to characterize the rest of mankind as being drug-addicted, sex-crazed, power hungry, violent, anti-Christian, following false doctrine, their governments are flawed beyond repair, lovers of money, gamblers, alcoholic, abusive, immoral, crazy, pedophiliac (funny because it is well known that plenty of their members have been charged with the same) and so on.

They base these accusations off the few examples of awful happenings in all their forms, and their judgment of those ‘different’ from them (homosexuality, abortion, and so on) to a point where they lump in such people with all the other things they consider ‘evil’, as without any regard at all for the individual person.

They even have a word for all of you: The World. You are The World. If you are not a Jehovah’s Witness, you are ‘different’ from them, and in a negative way. You are ‘bad’, even though they do not know you. As soon as you meet them, their minds are automatically labeling you as ‘part of the world’ without them even knowing you.

They may not admit they hate you, but they will never spend any time with you beyond what is necessary. After all, you are ‘bad’.

So could one call that slander, or is there a different term for what they do?
They generalize ALL people into several negative categories. Are you offended?
These are, after all, the same people coming to your door with smiles on their faces, wanting you to join their religion ultimately. Before they’ve met you and greeted you, they have already decided you are a bad person and it is their job to change you.
Correction: I’m not talking about how JWs slander ex-JWs, JWs do that on a regular basis.

I’ve met a lot of people who belong to that church and I can’t recall any of them slandering anybody.

Thumbs down all you want, I’m simply telling what I’ve observed. I have heard Jehovah’s Witnesses talk about things like a general lack of morality in the world today, but I’ve never heard one of them say nasty things about an individual person’s behavior.

I usually think of “slander” as pertaining to a specific individual. I guess it can pertain to to people in general, I’m not not used to to seeing the word used that way. It doesn’t particularly upset me if someone talks about people in general as long as they aren’t singling out a specific group by ethnicity, religion, or whatever. That would definitely bother me.
