Ok, my parents caught me smoking pot. They are making WAY too big a deal of it. Not only are they taking it too far, but what really bothers me is they have every single one of their facts WRONG. After an hour and a half lecture i can honestly say my parents do not know a single fact about marijuana, they lectured me on price, addiction, effects, laws, and dangers. And all i could think was, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, and WRONG. I have no idea where they got their “facts” from. So im making a report for them, im writing a report about marijuana, and how its not as bad as they think. They swear its cocaine or something, no joke! I will include facts like medicinal use, “addiction” (If any!), and i will include many comparisons with weed and alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. They are life long cigarette smokers so i will compare heavily to tobacco. Does anyone know any websites, books, movies, or anywhere i can get some really good helpful information for my project? Also if you know anything i should includel gimme what you got but i will need you to cite your source!

@annie….. are you stupid or something? obviously if i didn’t know the risks and facts about it i wouldn’t smoke it but i do so i will. Im just trying to get as much information as i possibly can together and out it all in a presentable way. And by the way, when it comes to this subject i AM more knowledgeable than my parents.

Hello idiot, I would like to point out that marijuana IS addictive, that, yes, it is not as bad as cigarettes, but far worse than tobacco, it IS expensive if its real, it will kill you, it is illegal, your parents are right and they are only looking out for you. best of luck screwing up your life even further.

There is this great book i read, i BELIEVE its called marijuana myths and facts, and then also there was those great special on history channel bout weed, idk what its called but if you google “history channel marijuana special” im sure ull find it. And hey i feel ya, my parents caught me, no more door/tv/xbox/ipod/phone/privacy/facebook, my advice is sneak it when you can, and bullshit about thinking its bad, i did that at first a year ago, parents dont budge. If you make them think you want to quit, then theyll be hella chill and itll bloe over in a month
