Question by Sam W: Friend said “Hop is another name for marijuana”?
My dog’s name is Hop and my friend said this is another name for marijuana. Is this fact that common, I didn’t know it. If it’s true I feel a bit sorry for my dog now if it’s true.

Yeah that used to be a slang for weed but I don’t think it’s been used by mainstream America for 20 years.
Hops IS an ingredient in beer though.
