Making Pacts With Friends in Regards to Quitting Drugs; Is It a Plan Doomed to Failure?

Question by Hadilf Otler: Making pacts with friends in regards to quitting drugs; is it a plan doomed to failure?
Me and a friend made a mutual agreement to cease cannabis intake. He said I can ring him anytime to check on his progress and vise versa. I have been doing very well, it’s been a whole month. but whenever i bring the subject up with him he doesn’t want to discuss it. What the hell is going on?

1) He might of caved in, I have never done Cannabis but from what I know it is hard to quit, maybe he needs professional help.

2) He might find it easier to just not talk about it and work it out on his own.

Anyways, well done on your own success!

I hope this has helped in some way. 🙂

Cannabis is not a drug as is methamphetamine, nicotine, caffeine, cocaine, and other man made substances….It is a plant that has been used for medicinal purposes since the beginning of time. But there are health problems that can arise from smoking it, hence why you should vaporize. There are no negative health consequences when vaporized…But what I think is happening to your friend is common. I used to smoke so much, I literally smoked myself sober. And during those times, I would have the sudden urge just to randomly quit smoking. But then when I woke up the next day, I realized how ridiculous I was being. Whether or not you think you should quit, he is probably having second thoughts about all of the benefits he would be sacrificing. Also, you may have noticed that ceasing cannabis has no physical withdraws, only mental, which makes it easier to quit than caffeine, but a lot of people believe what the idiots say about it being “extremely addicting” and mentally create fake physical withdraws….The best way to quit is to straight up not have it around the house and burn the bridges with your connect….
