Latin Americans, What Are the Stupid Stereotypes About Your Country That Make You the Most Angry?
Question by Ho Ho Ho: Latin Americans, what are the stupid stereotypes about your country that make you the most angry?
For example, some Brazilian women told me they were very upset, of course, about the ridiculous cliché “Brazilian girl = easy girl”.
And some Colombians also told me they were very upset about questions like ” Hey, do you know where I can buy some cocaine?”

hi allan, well there is not an special stereotype that upsets me specially about my country, sometimes when a foreind hear about venezuela the first thing that comes to their mids is president chavez, and ask me things like if im chavista, jokes about chavez this and that, critics etc, which is something i dont feel really bother, because im not really into politics, but what it bothers me are those foreigners who put every latinamericans in one bag, and labels us as ”criminals, drug dealers, gangsters” specially those living in usa and europe, curiosly the first consumers of drugs worldwide, and those european people that think every latinamerican is ”indigenous, backward, lazy…” things like that or those north americans who thinks that every latinamerican is ”mexican”.

Yesssssss. i’m from Spain but i live in Colombia and this is my real homeland, so i have to defend it. Stereotypes: do you have cocaine on your backyard?
OH MY GOD, seriously? it makes me sick anout people thinking of colombia as a dirty place here people kill people on the street and trip over cows and gens.
And about Spaniards, they think we’re very mean and unfriendly, and i’m not gonna say we’re like colombians (the best people ever) but i’m not like that, and people also think that i hate latinos AND NO! I love them, my ex man was mexican (Tijuana and he was not a drug dealer) and the current is Argentinian..
