What Are Some of Your Characters Bad Habits And/or Addictions?

Question by Firepaw: What are some of your characters bad habits and/or addictions?
One of my character’s is a chain smoker. When he’s not busy fighting bad guys he just about always has a cigarette in between his fingers.

Another one of my character’s is addicted to a drug that’s somewhat like Cocaine that some people call white sand. This guy gets pissed if he don’t take the drug in 30 hour shifts.

My character turns to alcohol to help her forget what she’s going through, or at least to help her feel better.

Alistair has just about every bad habit going. He has very little self-control, he’s a thrill seeker and he often tries something just for the sake of saying he’s done it, but then quickly finds that he’s unable to stop. He smokes and drinks and he’s addicted to getting tattoos and piercings, but he’s saved from getting into drugs by his latest addiction, his love interest Orianne, who has bigger plans for him.

Orianne’s addiction is power and she can’t resist people who are in thrall to her. She smokes and drinks for pleasure but remains clear headed and calculating. She’s reckless with the well-being of others but very careful about looking after herself.
