Is This NATURAL for My Hands to Turn So Dry When I Sleep?

Question by chasvanblom: Is this NATURAL for my hands to turn so dry when I sleep?
My hands turn uncomfortably dry when I sleep. I notice a dry / cracked “scale” on my hands when I wake up each morning.
Rather than apply hand lotions to my hands before going to bed – which I feel I will wipe on my bedsheets, or thoughoughly washing before going to bed, what therapies can I try?

I am betting that my hands loose the blood pressure while I am resting.

i dont’ think your blood pressure will be affected at all while your sleeping b/c of anything to do with your hands. washing your hands before bed will just make it worse. you need to get a good lotion, like Euercin (spelling?) or something like that, not the kind with fragrance in it. then get some exfoliating gloves, they are like $ 4 at target or walmart in the beauty section. put the lotion on your hands and don’t fully rub it in and put the gloves on while you sleep. it will not allow the lotion to get on your bed and it will keep the moisture in and let it totally go into your skin.

It has nothing to do with your blood pressure. Get a tube of neutrogena hand cream, and apply a tiny dab after you brush your teeth. It will sink in before you get in bed.
