Where Do Drug Addicts Find Their Connections?

Question by J H: Where do drug addicts find their connections?
I don’t do drugs and find the idea abbhorent, but I realized that even if I wanted to, I wouldn’t have the slightest clue how to find a connection. I mean, you can’t just approach people and ask, “Do you sell cocaine?” How do addicts find their original connections?
